Single-Lambda 100G Pluggable Optics Solution Overview

Transceivers speed is increasing fast from 100G to 400G, 800G and soon 1.6T, at the mean time the technology also is keep improving, when we are look back to the transceivers we were use, it is quite simple, let say for a 10G transceivers, it consists one channel for transmit and one channel for receive, at the speed of 10Gbps. The 100G QSFP28 Single-lambda transceivers is a new trend for the 100G QSFP28 form factor.

The 100G QSFP28 single lambda transceivers featured lots of benefits, such as interoperation with 100G SFP112 transceivers, capable of connect to 400G network equipment. It is quote good for the different applications

What is single-lambda 100G?

The single-lambda 100G optical specifications were first standardized by the 100G Lambda MSA (multisource agreement). The 100G single lambda MSA quickly gained broad industry support due to its vision to create cost-effective solutions for high-density multi-terabit switching, routing, and transport networks. The goal was to define optical specifications that allow for future 100G and 400G pluggable optics that can be scaled to high-volume manufacturing, and therefore achieve low cost.

TARLUZ’s QSFP100 FR, DR, LR, ER, and ZR optics
TARLUZ single-lambda 100G optical transceivers include the 100G FR, the 100G DR, the 100G LR, the 100G ER-Lite, the 100G ER, and the 100G ZR. The transceivers can respectively transmit about 500m, 2km, 10km, 30km, 40km and 80km via single mode fiber.
